Dr. No

The first of a long line of James Bond movies, Dr. No came dashing in with debonair. We catch up with Mr. Bond running an assignment to prevent a mysterious signal from interrupting a critical missile launch. For a moment I had to think why I cared until I recalled that the movie came out in 1962!
Carving out his own suave style, Sean Connery plays a talented, but distracted, British agent bent on saving the world with style. I give this movie 4 stars because it was fun and fairly clean, with some fair twists to the story.
